So what kind of book is Space Taxis?
Essentially, its a Science Fiction novel, similar to Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Red Dwarf and Slaughterhouse Five. It’s at one moment humorous but at others very sad or dramatic. It’s also got elements of alternate history and spiritual fantasy. But you need to read it yourself…..

In 1977 misfit New York Cab driver Mike Redolfo is having a bad day, first getting fired from his job and then being abducted by aliens to planet Vost.

Space Taxis might be mostly set in the 1970s, on another planet, and back in Nazi occupied Europe, but there’s an underlying theme of Celtic mythology. See if you can spot it early on!

Aliens on Vost
Vost is a vibrant planet with many diverse species. Here are a few of the main ones:
Berrantines—Human-like bipeds. They have soft ridges on their cheeks, otherwise they are similar to humans.
Corattians—Hulking, tall species of great strength. Blubbery like oversized sea-mammals.
Epeiryans—Tentacled humanoids.
Garryans—Scaly humanoids with large, reflective eyes. Look similar to Roswell aliens. Major species on Vost.
Kitchawans—A species of small stature. Long necks and long arms. Imp-like.
Kyanagis—Furry humanoids. Look cute, a bit like Ewoks.
Sciath—Kick ass humanoids with red hair, blue-grey skin, blue streaks of dye in hair, good with spears. Only one in book – female love interest “Caryalla”. Uses twin tiger-hook swords (like Shaolin swords)
Terannians—An antlered, muscular ancient species of Vost, they look like the god Cernunnos.
